CABIN FEVER GIFT CARDS (Plastic version, in hand)

  • Load your Cabin Fever Coffee gift card with any dollar amount $5 and over

  • Collect points using our loyalty rewards program (see Loyalty Rewards section for more info) with your phone number - One for each transaction

  • Check balance or reload your Cabin Fever Coffee gift card (as long as you have your gift card number)

  • You can also add your Cabin Fever Coffee gift card directly to your account to redeem it without presenting the plastic card itself

  • The dollar value that you load onto your Cabin Fever Coffee gift card is a prepayment for drinks, food, and other goods and is only for use at participating Cabin Fever locations.

  • The value you load on your Cabin Fever gift card will not expire*

  • The dollar value on your Cabin Fever Coffee gift card is non-transferable, nonrefundable and may not be redeemed for cash

  • We do not charge any activation, service, dormancy or inactivity fees in connection with your Cabin Fever Coffee gift card

  • You must report all transaction errors to us within 30 days of the transaction

  • Searching for a last minute gift or do you live far away from Defiance and someone you love lives here? This is PERFECT for you! Choose your “card” design too.

  • Purchase e-gift cards HERE and YOU select a date/time for arrival to your favorite recipient if you can’t make it in to either location. Fill in your personal message with their name and email address and it’s as easy as that.

  • If you have your e-gift card numbers, you can also check your balance at the link below.

  • Double and triple check that you have the correct email address to ensure on time + correct delivery.


EFFECTIVE October 1, 2018— “Old Gift cards”

  • When adding a second location to the Cabin Fever Coffee family, we had to switch our cash register + computer systems.

  • In the beginning of 2018, We switched from our old system to the current Square system 6 months before officially opening “Southside Cabin Fever”. For customer loyalty rewards (you earn free coffee) we had to have the same system at both locations + the old system was severely outdated.

  • We continued to accept the old system’s gift cards and transferring them to the new system for for TWO YEARS after the switch. Having kept the old computer in the basement at our Downtown Cabin location. It could no longer continue working as it was the original system. Cabin Fever began in 2003!

  • After those two years of transition time, we had to post an end date. We shared many fliers in store, shared updates and reminders via social media and email to please come in to use any gift cards from the original system. After turning it off for the last time, we would not be to read those gift cards any longer. We would have no way to know how much is on them.

  • Even now almost more than 5 years after the start of our new computer system and 3 years since the death of the old one, we continue to get random gift cards returned to us that we unfortunately can no longer honor.

  • It is these gift cards that can now be seen as “expired” and no longer valid.

    We are a local, small business, run by family and we are in no way attempting to keep you from your gift cards. However, we have had to draw a line somewhere and did our due diligence in communicating what was needed, with multiple opportunities.

    We SO appreciate your understanding that we love serving the community and want to continue that.
